Live In-Play
Bet as the odds change during the match.
How to Read Odds
Understanding odds is one of the most important skills in betting. 9wicet uses three main formats:
Decimal Odds
This is the simplest format. Multiply your bet amount by the odds to get your total return.
Example: You bet ৳500 at odds of 1.80 — total return = ৳500 × 1.80 = ৳900 (profit ৳400).
Implied Probability
Calculate the probability from decimal odds: 1 ÷ odds × 100. For example, odds of 1.80 means roughly 56% probability. If you think the actual chance is higher than that, placing a bet is reasonable.
Fractional and American Odds
Fractional (e.g. 4/5) is mainly the British style — a ৳5 bet returns ৳4 profit. With American odds, positive (+160) means ৳160 profit on a ৳100 bet, and negative (-120) means ৳100 profit on a ৳120 bet. The decimal format is the most convenient on 9wicet.
RTP and House Edge Explained
RTP, or Return to Player, is a game's theoretical return rate — on average, how much money is returned to players per ৳100 wagered over the long term. For example, a 96% RTP means an average return of ৳96 for every ৳100 over a long period. This is not a guarantee for any single session — it is an average across millions of spins.
It is important to understand the typical RTP ranges for different game types. Slot games generally show an RTP of 92%–98%, while skill-based card games like blackjack can have an RTP close to 99%. Roulette typically falls between 94%–97% — European roulette, with a single zero, is more favorable than the American version.
House edge is the opposite of RTP. A 96% RTP means a 4% house edge — that 4% is the casino's long-term earnings. The lower the house edge, the more favorable the situation is for the player. Live casino games such as Baccarat or blackjack generally have a lower house edge than slots.
Knowing RTP and house edge allows you to choose games consciously and manage your budget more effectively. Remember — no game guarantees a win. RTP information is simply a helpful tool for estimating entertainment costs.

Bankroll Management Guide
The most important part of responsible betting is managing your bankroll — that is, the budget set aside for betting — properly. This is not an investment; it is the cost of entertainment.
- Set a budget: Only use money for betting that you can afford to lose without it affecting your daily life.
- Divide into sessions: Split your total bankroll across multiple sessions — do not spend more than 10% of the total in any single session.
- Follow the 1–5% rule: Each individual bet should be only 1%–5% of your total bankroll. Large single bets can quickly wipe everything out.
- Know when to stop after winning: End the session once you reach your target. Greed often gives back winnings.
- Take a break after losing: Do not place more bets trying to recover losses — this behaviour is called "chasing losses" and it is harmful. Keep records so you can identify patterns.
